TCM or Turner Classic Movies provides the users of Amazon Fire TV or Apple TV an online activation portal to activate their device and access Watch TCM on that platform conveniently. How to activate Watch TCM
Watch TCM can be accessed only by the customers, who get TCM at home and have a TV provider on their list. Currently,two platforms, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV are available for TCM activation. Those, who don’t have any of the mentioned platforms, are suggested to check back often as more option will be added very soon in the future.
Here are some simple steps to activate the subscribers’ device to Watch TCM. Before getting started, keep your Cable or Satellite TV Account login Username and Password handy. If you don’t know the credentials, contact your service provider and have them ready; those are needed to complete the activation procedure successfully.
- Go to the Watch TCM Activation Page at www.tcm.com/activate
Select your streaming platform between Amazon Fire and Apple TV for the activation.
Enter the Activation Code from the screen of your device.- Click the “submit” button to verify your TV service provider’s account.
The verification process will be handled by your TV service provider. TCM does not access any of the information like username, password, and email about that account of yours.
Some Notes on Watch TCM
- Watch TCM is a TV Everywhere service that allows the viewers to access on-demand movies, live broadcast of TCM online and on devices that supports the Watch TCM app
- Users need to subscribe to TCM through their TV Service provider to watch TCM.
- Most of the aired programs on TCM are available on Watch TCM but some cannot be due to the licensing issues.
- Movies will appear in Watch TCM within 3 hours after they aired on the network mostly and are available generally for 7 days.
- The users can access one of the two live broadcasts in Watch TCM. The West Coast shows movies in PST and the East Coast in EST.
